FALL YOUTH & FAMILY: Needle Felt an Owl Workshop for Families

Course Description:     
Learn the craft of needle felting! Using different types of felting needles and a bit of patience, students will transform wool roving into an owl with personality. Time permitting, they can continue to explore the craft by making a pumpkin. This craft involves sharp needles and will require good fine motor control. All supplies will be provided by the Umbrella.
Please note: Registration cost includes attendance for one adult and one child. Parents can register additional children for $40 each.

Instructor: Maire-Anne Diamond
Maire Anne Diamond is a lifelong sewer and crafter, and has been a quilter for more than a decade.  She loves helping students of all ages achieve creative expression through fabric!  She is active in local sewing groups, has had her work displayed in local quilt shows, and sits on the board of Sew N Sew, a non-profit sewing cooperative in Natick. She also has a passion for the natural world, and is an insect enthusiast.  ...
