The present terms and conditions (this “Agreement” or “Terms”) is a legal agreement between you and Umbrella Arts Center (hereinafter “UAC”), a company duly organized and validly existing, located at 40 Stow Street, Concord, MA.  This Agreement annuls and voids all previous agreements.

The Site (www.theumbrellaarts.org) is operated by UAC.  Throughout the Site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to UAC.  UAC offers this Site, including all information, tools and services available from this Site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

The Way We Use Information

When you visit our website or perform an online transaction, we do not share your information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with third parties. The UAC website uses its cookies along with tracking Partners for metrics purposes. A Prospect receives a cookie from these Partners when they visit http://theumbrellaarts.org and/or when they visit one of the Partner Advertisers’ websites. Partners may collect information for the use of tracking website use and traffic or serving retargeted ads.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described in this notice.

Donor, Customer and Patron Privacy Policy

UAC Company respects the privacy of its customers and donors and has put in place a privacy policy reflective of our respect. 

Information UAC may collect and maintain:

  • Contact information: name, address, telephone number, email address
  • Giving or purchase information
  • Information on performances, events or education programs attended, or special requests for program information or accommodations
  • Information provided in the form of comments and suggestions

UAC uses this information to understand our customers’ interests in our mission and programs and to update them on our plans and activities. Information concerning customers and donors may be shared only with staff, board members, and consultants, including legal counsel and accountants, on a need-to-know basis. It will be kept confidential unless permission is granted by the customer or donor (or, in the case of a donor estate, the donor’s personal representative), except to the extent UAC is required to release such information by law.

UAC does not sell, rent, or lease its customers' information to other organizations.

UAC  offers opportunities for volunteers and donors to be recognized publicly in association with their contribution; however, are given the opportunity to remain anonymous and to decline public and/or private recognition.

Our Commitment To Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We have used precautions to protect the security of the website but we cannot guarantee that your information will not be lost or stolen due to technical problems or invasion of the site.

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Refund and Exchange Policy

Performance and Event Tickets:

Thank you for making the choice to join us at The Umbrella for one of our scheduled performances or events. We understand that life can be unpredictable and have therefore developed a policy that we hope will address your needs. As always, if you need to cancel your attendance or have any questions, please contact The Umbrella at boxoffice@theumbrellaarts.org or call 978-371-0820.

  • All ticket purchases are final.
  • Exchanges of equal value may be made prior to the day of a performance at the discretion of management, dependent upon ticket availability for alternate dates, and subject to a first-­come, first-­served basis. No exchanges may be made within 24 hours of a performance.
  • If exchanging into a more expensive seating section or performance, upgrade fees may apply.
  • Additional transaction fees will apply to all single ticket purchases. Transaction fees are waived for all Season Subscription packages.
  • Additional event purchases inclusive of pre-paid meals such as Concord Film Project screenings or pre-theater dinners are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Classes, Vacation Weeks, Summer Camps:

The Umbrella Arts Center may cancel any class, workshop, camp week or other educational program with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. The Umbrella will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences or late enrollment.
