Maire-Anne Diamond
Maire Anne Diamond is a lifelong sewer and crafter, and has been a quilter for more than a decade. She loves helping students of all ages achieve creative expression through fabric! She is active in local sewing groups, has had her work displayed in local quilt shows, and sits on the board of Sew N Sew, a non-profit sewing cooperative in Natick.
She also has a passion for the natural world, and is an insect enthusiast. Prior to teaching sewing and fiber arts classes, she taught science enrichment programs on invertebrates through her company, Bugworks. She has also taught science classes through Newton Community Education, as well as worked in research labs at the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard, and the University of Texas Zoology Department.
