FALL ADULTS: Bookbinding / Journal / Artist Book Making Workshop

Course Description:     
In this bookbinding intensive we will learn the art of binding. We will sew and paste together to form multiple projects of this ancient art. Students should have the ability to use a needle and thread to sew. Please being these basics: pencil, ruler, paper clips or clothes pins x 4, Elmers glue, 12-24 sheets plain computer print paper, 2 large needles, twine or similar heavy thread (ribbon is optional).

Nancy Hart is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the expanded field of Post Modernism in her teaching and studio work. She has an MFA from the Art Institute of Boston / Lesley University of Art and Design and a BFA in painting from TUFTS / the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
