FALL YOUTH & FAMILY: Handsewing Workshop for Families

Course Description:     
Hand-sewing is both a relaxing hobby and an useful skill to learn. This workshop is suitable for both beginners or anyone who has been sewing regularly. Have fun learning some basic sewing techniques using easy instructions to make two sewing projects. We will make an adorable mini fabric animal and a colorful fabric food item. At the end of this workshop, you will be going home with some wonderful artworks and new ideas for your next sewing project.
Please note: Registration cost includes attendance for one adult and one child. Parents can register additional children for $40 each.

Instructor: Alison Tsoi
Alison has been an art teacher and a graphic designer for many years. Some of her favorite things are library makerspace, science events, the Harvard Museum of Natural History and spontaneous dancing.Alison enjoys all art disciplines and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
