SPRING ADULTS: Wood Tessellation

Course Description:
In this course, students will design and create tessellated wall art using a combination of laser cutting and woodworking techniques. They will explore geometric patterns, repetition, and interlocking shapes to develop visually striking designs. The course will cover vector-based design for laser cutting, material preparation, and woodworking techniques such as sanding, finishing, and assembly to craft intricate, layered wooden wall art. Through hands-on experimentation, students will learn how to transform digital patterns into precisely cut and skillfully finished physical pieces, creating unique tessellated artworks that blend mathematics, craftsmanship, and modern fabrication methods.
