WINTER ADULTS: Geometric Design - 3D Modeling For Mold Casting

Course Description:
In this course, students will explore functional design by creating unique, everyday objects such as mugs, vases, and plates with imaginative, creative forms. Starting with 3D modeling techniques, students will design their own functional pieces, then learn to 3D print and create molds from their models. Molds can be used for casting in a variety of materials, including ceramic, concrete, or other pourable mediums. The course offers a introduction to digital and hands-on craftsmanship, perfect for those looking to bring their functional design ideas to life with modern fabrication techniques.
