SUMMER ADULTS: Beginner Wheel

Course Description:     
In this introductory class students will learn the basics of wheel throwing, including but not limited to: making bowls, cups, mugs, and the basics of trimming and glazing. The fundamentals of hand building may also be addressed through a group project. This is your gateway into ceramics and the pottery wheel, and a welcome to this amazing medium! This class is suitable for beginner students.

Instructor: Alex Hogan Kosciak
With decades of experience in ceramics and counseling psychology Alex brings an open and thoughtful perspective to teaching and creating art. She has taught ceramics to both children and adults in a variety of settings from public schools to community art centers and summer camps to private studios.
