Alex Hogan Kosciak

With decades of experience in ceramics and counseling psychology Alex brings an open and thoughtful perspective to teaching and creating art. She has taught ceramics to both children and adults in a variety of settings from public schools to community art centers and summer camps to private studios. Alex received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan where she majored in fine art and psychology followed by a graduate degree from Boston College. While teaching and working with clay her focus is on how small objects can invite bigger connections and conversations. When she is not in the studio Alex is enjoying time in the kitchen and outside with her husband and their three boys.
