SPRING ADULTS: Figure Painting Workshop

Course Description:     
Feel inspired and receive expert painting instruction during this 5-hour workshop. Nayda will teach you how to paint the figure from live clothed or nude models. The first two hours will review oil basics, color mixing, composition, brushwork, and glazing. Figure drawing exercises from photographs and online platform. Three hours of model pose with breaks for the model. All levels welcome, perfect for total beginners and those eager to reconnect with the art figure painting.

Class Notes: This program is scheduled to run for 5 hours. There will be an hour break for lunch from 12pm-1pm. Lunch is not provided by the Umbrella.

Nayda A. Cuevas was born in Puerto Rico. She obtained a BFA in Fine Art (2002) from Stetson University in Deland FL and her MFA in Visual Arts (2015) at Lesley College of Art (Former Art Institute of Boston) in Cambridge, MA.
