SPRING ADULTS: Figurative Oil Painting from Photographs

Course Description:
For 8 weeks we will use the figure as our muse. Feel inspired while learning foundational techniques of portrait painting in oil, such as composition, line drawing, proportions, glazing, paint application, and brushwork. First two photographic assignments (models) will be chosen by the instructor. You will then be asked to bring your own photograph/images to paint. All levels welcome, perfect for total beginners and those eager to reconnect with the art of oil figurative painting. Non oil painters welcomed. Some drawing experience required.
