Alter, Elaborate, and Embellish: Skills Class with Maddie Gage

Course Description:
Join Maddie Gage for a focused class investigating her unique process from start to finish. Maddie will begin with on the wheel, demonstrating her process for throwing, and altering feet and split rims. Maddie will then guide students through her meticulous process for laying out and executing slip decorated surfaces. Slip trailing, carving, and additive techniques will be demonstrated. Please note: this is a demo-only class. This class is suitable for all students.

Maddie Gage is a ceramic artist from Concord, Massachusetts. She has over 9 years of experience working in clay, committing to pursue a career in ceramics before graduating high school.
