At Umbrella Arts, we believe that everyone is an artist. We have designed our February Vacation Week – From Sun to Snow educational program with different track options to give students the opportunity to discover, explore, and follow their passion in the arts.

Our Vacation Week Program weekly theme of From Sun to Snow will have students traveling through all four seasons in just one week of art making! From summer sunshine and autumn leaves to winter wonderlands and spring blossoms students will learn how artists throughout history have been inspired and impacted by the seasons. No matter which track your student joins, the theme of the week will be incorporated into their projects.

Choose a track for your students art exploration:

UMBRELLA ARTS VARIETY PROGRAM: Grades K-6
Half Day (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Two different one-hour art classes each day in a variety of art mediums such as painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, woodworking, performing arts and more incorporating the From Sun to Snow theme in all of your projects. Includes a break for a mid-morning snack. Tuition: $375
Full Day (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Four different one-hour art classes each day in a variety of art mediums such as painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, woodworking, performing arts and more incorporating the From Sun to Snow theme in all of your projects. Includes breaks for a mid-morning snack and mid-day lunch / free time. Tuition: $550

UMBRELLA ARTS SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS: Grades 3-8
Full Day 2D Track (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Explore the specific art mediums of painting and drawing through two, two-hour art classes daily taking inspiration from the From Sun to Snow theme in your daily projects. Includes breaks for a mid-morning snack and mid-day lunch / free time. Tuition: $550
Full Day 3D Track (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Explore the specific art mediums of ceramics, sculpture, and woodworking through two, two-hour art classes daily taking inspiration from the From Sun to Snow theme in your daily projects. Includes breaks for a mid-morning snack and mid-day lunch / free time. Tuition: $550
Full Day Ceramics Track (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): An intensive program of hand-building and wheel throwing ceramics consisting of four hours daily of ceramic project making. Includes breaks for a mid-morning snack and mid-day lunch / free time. Tuition: $575
Full Day Performing Arts Track (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): An intensive program of acting and physical storytelling. Over the week students will learn to express themselves through movement, bring characters to life, and put together a collaborative story that will be performed at the end of the week. Includes breaks for a mid-morning snack and mid-day lunch / free time. Tuition: $550
Full Day Teen Leadership Program (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM): Full Day Leadership & Art Making program for Teens in Grades 7-8. This leadership program helps to prepare teens for future jobs or internships while also taking their own art classes. This program is structured for teens to spend half of the day gaining leadership experience working with children and the other half of the day taking two different one-hour art classes. Includes breaks for a mid-morning snack and mid-day lunch / free time break. Tuition: $375

Household Sibling Discount: A tuition discount of 5% off additional registrations is available when two or more children are registered for the same week(s) and program type.

Late Registration:
Registration will close at 11:59 PM EST on Friday January 29, 2027 or when the program fills, whichever is sooner. Registrations after the deadline date may be accepted on a space available basis with an additional fee of $50. Parents must contact Umbrella Arts Education by phone or in person and be ready to make payment at the time of registration and complete all of the required forms.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • Students must be dropped off and picked up at their specific program location at the designated times.  There is no transportation for students provided by Umbrella Arts.
  • Students registered for the FULL DAY programs at Umbrella Arts will have a 30 minute lunch break and will need to bring a NUT-FREE lunch from home.
  • Please be aware that the total number of classes and rotations in the various program areas (drawing, painting, ceramics, performing arts etc.) will depend on the total number of students enrolled and how they divide into similar age groups (e.g. 4-5yrs, 5-6yrs, 7-8yrs, 8-10yrs, 10-12yrs, and 12-14yrs).
  • Parent/Guardians should also note that if your child’s age group is under enrolled (fewer than 5), the group will be cancelled and students placed in either a younger or older age group depending on availability, and at the discretion of the Program Director.
  • Parent/Guardians are required to complete all required health & medical forms. Failure to complete the required forms will result in the student not being admitted into the program.
  • Late Registrations may be accepted after the registration deadline on a space available basis if the schedules have not been completed and the staff to student ratios allow for additions to a specific age group. Late registrations are subject to a fee of $50.
  • Refund Policy Vacation Week Program: Tuition, less a nonrefundable $50 registration and processing fee, will be refunded if the request is made in person or in writing before the day of the program registration deadline, Sunday, January 30, 2026. No refunds will be issued after January 29, 2027.
