FAQs
Why is The Umbrella making this change?
The Umbrella is always looking for new ways to make the purchasing path easier for its patrons, whether they’re buying tickets for a theater performance or registering for arts education programming. We know that registration opening days can be stressful for students and parents. In an effort to speed up the checkout process, patrons can now check out and secure their spot(s) in our arts education programs prior to entering detailed registration information. This new format will allow all patrons to move through the purchasing pathway quickly.
What does “Edit Registration” mean? Why can I only alter select information?
Registrations for a given education program are for the intended student only. You are allowed access to parts of the form which may change, such as address and phone number. For other changes, please contact the Education department.
What does “Register” mean? I thought I paid for a spot in the class/camp/education program?
“Register” means that the program has been paid for and a spot is being held for you but there is no student information entered yet. You must fill in student information to officially complete the registration process.
I filled out the student information. What does “Pending” mean?
Pending means that you have paid, filled out the student information form, and the database needs to process the form (can take up to 24 hours). We will contact you should the system find any errors.
What if I still have questions?
