Past Umbrella Concerts: Ryan Montbleau Band - October 2018

Thanks to everyone who came out on October 26, 2018 to Nashoba Brooks School for another AMAZING Umbrella Benefit Concert and Party with the Ryan Montbleau Band!

We had a great night end-to-end, starting with a festive pre-party featuring live music by Berklee's very own Corner House, seasonal beer & wine, and a delicious Fall menu prepared by Peppers Artful Events.

The Umbrella's Executive Director Jerry Wedge thanked the packed house for attending the benefit, which coincided with #ArtsMatterDay, Massachusetts' statewide day of arts advocacy.

The theme was carried into the band's introduction by event co-chairs Tim & Jaimee Healy, who described their personal connections with The Umbrella, Montbleau, and each other through a shared love of music and arts.

It wasn't long before the standing-room-only hall was on its feet cheering and dancing for Ryan Montbleau and his rollicking band. A homegrown talent hailing from Peabody, Montbleau has been a fixture on the Boston music scene for over a dozen years, and more recently has been growing a fervent national fan base. 

     Afterwards, attendees were able to mingle, purchase Montbleau's newly released album, Woodstock Sessions, and meet the band in a casual cocktail mixer and Q&A.

The Concert Series supports The Umbrella Community Arts Center's programming and mission to enrich lives and build a vibrant community through the arts. A major semi-annual event in Concord, the Series has also hosted such headliners as Old Crow Medicine Show, Lyle Lovett, Bruce Hornsby, Sara Bareilles, and Jewel among others.
