Empty Bowl Event Volunteers Needed!
Do you enjoy the arts and enjoy meeting people? Help a charity fighting hunger. High school student get community service credits.
When: Thursday, Nov. 3rd (2 Set up volunteers will arrive at 5:30) 5:50pm-8pm (2 clean up volunteers will stay until 8:30 pm.)
Specify your preferred times.
Where: The Umbrella Community Arts Center, 40 Stow Street, Concord (Concord Center) MA
Room 111 and 112. * Ample free parking. On commuter rail.
What: Volunteers will:
Welcome Guests
Assist in the Gallery
Staff the Donation Box
Clean Bowls
Help keep bowl display full and looking neat.
Greet guests, answer questions and direct people.
Staff a table with a donation box, marketing materials or sign in area.
Answer questions.
Take informal photos and post on social media.
Clean dining area, stock napkins & utensils.
Assist guests in cleaning and drying their new bowls after dinner
About the Empty Bowls event:
Guests at the event will buy a bowl and have a meal. All proceeds will go to a hunger relief charity. Volunteers will help with guests and all aspects of the event.
