Art has always been a passion of mine and it was my favorite subject in school growing up. I obtained my Bachelor of Art Degree in Graphic Design from Framingham State University. While on my journey, I felt inspired to work with children so I decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education.

I have been working as a certified EEC Lead Teacher for 4 years now. I enjoy observing and assessing the behaviors of young children, and teach them how to maintain them. My favorite activity to do with children is process art projects. Process art teaches the child how to use their senses while exploring different materials to create a work of art. I like to engage the children into art activities so they can use their self-expression to show their creativity and imagination when creating art. I also like to use art as a form of therapy. Working with children has made me more aware, empathic, compassionate and playful. Children show me how to appreciate the little things in life by embracing them with such love and excitement. During my spare time, I like to take art courses and update myself on the current art mediums such as metal stamping, jewelry making, pressed flowers and preserving them with resin etc., and I look forward to teaching children these mediums in the future!
