The Concord Film Project Presents "Pride"
On Tuesday, February 10, The Umbrella will welcome audiences for Pride. In the summer of 1984, during a strike by the National Union of Mineworkers, a London-based group of gay and lesbian activists travels to a small mining community in Wales to deliver funds they have raised to support the miners’ families. During the visit, the two groups establish an unexpected friendship and discover unanticipated commonalities. Inspired by a true story.
