SPRING YOUTH: Intermediate Wheel Throwing (Ages 8-12)
Course Description:
Continue to expand your wheel throwing skill set in this youth wheel throwing class. Students will learn how to design different forms of functional pottery and explore adding hand-built items to wheel thrown vessels while moving on to more advanced techniques. Prerequisite: Students must have taken at least two beginner wheel throwing classes prior to registering for this class session.

Kathryn Kim is a ceramic artist, photographer, and teacher for more than 10 years to children and adults. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Anderson University in South Carolina. She went on to teach middle school art at Imago, a local private school, and started teaching at The Umbrella in 2015.
