FALL ADULTS: Drawing for Painters
Course Description:
If your basic drawing skills are good but you still have trouble with certain drawing concepts, this is the class for you! A class designed to help artists transfer their ideas to paper or canvas. Multiple methods of approach will be experimented with, from understanding perspective and empirical drawing to methods of drawing transfer, negative space, and maintaining a strong composition. Students should have basic drawing and painting skills.

Instructor: Kat O'Connor
Kat O’Connor earned a Bachelor of Arts in drawing with highest honors from Montana State University in 1990 and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1995. O'Connor was awarded a Mass Cultural Council Fellowship for her drawings in 2018, and is honored to have received a Sam and Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts 2021 Residency.
