Construction Update 8.7.18

Renovations to the main building have been going strong for the past 6 weeks, with 40-50 workers in the building regularly since June. Completed or underway now are the demolition of some areas, construction of new walls and entries to make spaces handicapped-accessible, abatement of hazardous materials, installation of new systems and electrical, bathroom renovations, and work on the finishing of walls, trim, and stairways.
In the new wing, foundation walls are complete and under slab utilities are being laid and backfilled. Steel for the framing is scheduled to arrive mid-August.
