SPRING ADULTS WORKSHOP: Spring Flowers in Colored Pencil

Course Description:
In this one-day workshop, students will work from fresh flowers to explore how to approach a botanical subject in colored pencil. The class will begin with a demonstration covering observation, measuring, drawing, and color matching. We will create small color studies and learn how to layer colored pencil from dark to light to build depth and achieve rich, vibrant color. Students will work on a drawing during the workshop and will have time to practice these techniques with individual guidance throughout the day.
