FALL ADULTS: Artist Talk with Forrest Gard

Course Description:     
In his artist talk, Forrest Sincoff Gard will talk about the idea of play and the importance of play throughout our entire lives, which is the driving force behind all of the work that he makes. During the presentation, Forrest will share images and videos of his interactive artworks and talk about the strategies that he uses to engage audiences to touch and play with his ceramic sculptures and installations. Don’t miss out on this unique artist talk that will show a wide range of work that Forrest has made over the last 20 years, including video footage of him riding on a ceramic skateboard and games that are specific for the gallery.

Forrest Sincoff Gard earned his BFA from Ohio University, completed post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Florida, and received his MFA from Louisiana State University.
