FALL YOUTH: Exploring Eco-Art (Ages 5-8)

Course Description:
This course invites young learners to joyfully explore the natural world through playful, hands‑on art activities using cyanotype printing, creative assemblage, and child‑friendly sculpture. Each session will combine simple environmental education—like collecting leaves, sticks, and recycled treasures—with age‑appropriate projects: magical blue cyanotype plant prints; whimsical assemblage using found objects; and colorful, moldable sculptures using clay or recycled materials. Through these engaging projects, children will develop fine motor skills, spark curiosity about art and nature, and begin to understand basic concepts of sustainability and resource reuse—aligned with best practices in early eco‑art education.
