BEG/INT/ADV

In this class we will explore hand building techniques using natural objects, creatures, and forms as inspiration. Students will be supported through various hand-building traditions like coil and slab building, with an emphasis on creating sculptural objects. Students who are interested in creating vessels are also welcome and will be encouraged to explore the sculptural possibilities within a functional frame. This class is appropriate for all interested in learning more about the hand-building process and will accommodate all skill levels. Bring your sense of humor!
