What: - Teaching Assistants for February School Vacation
A popular teen volunteer assignment!
Where: The Umbrella Community Arts Center, 40 Stow Street, Concord
When: Tuesday, February 16th to Friday, February, 19th 2016. * See hours below.
Time Commitment: Choose the day or day(s) you wish to volunteer. Choose all day or half days.
Requirements: reliable, dependable, enjoy working with kids, can follow directions.

* Volunteer teaching assistants who are scheduled for a full day should to arrive at 8:30 and stay until 4:30 pm. Half day volunteer teaching assistants should plan to leave at 1:00 pm. Extended day available till5:30pm. More details will follow closer to the date.
Theme: Art Explorers – Art in Motion
It might still be cold outside in February, but here inside the Umbrella, we are warmed up with creative sparks! This year for February vacation week students will become Art Explorers! Students will have the opportunity to try Drawing & Painting, 2D and 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Performing Arts, Art & Nature, Woodworking/Workshop, Digital Arts and Film Making, and More! Throughout the week, Umbrella teachers in each medium will take inspiration from the sciences and the natural world, to focus art projects on the ideas and engineering of movement.
