FALL ADULTS: Paint or Draw Plein Air At The Umbrella

Join this 3 session class to practice painting "En Plein Air" in The Umbrella's outdoor classroom! This is a great course for artists who want to practice getting outdoors making drawings or paintings in the environment like Leonardo Da, Vinchi, Van Gogh, Monet..., and so many others. This class is held in the mornings so we have some nice morning light, and with fall coming this will present us with lots of colors and shapes to study!

Students should bring their own materials (paint, brushes and painting "gear" or drawing materials (a short material list for anticipated supplies are included here).

We will supply easels, drawing boards, chairs or stools and some table space and shade and we will start by exploring our grounds.

Each class will start with a quick review and discussion of some other "Plein Air" artists works and observation exercises or warm ups and then students are free to set their easels up and work on some projects with guidance and advice when needed.

Inclement weather days will be postponed and made up on a later date.
