Intern Spotlight: Blair Coulter

January 14, 2019 by blaircoulter

Hi, my name is Blair Coulter, and I am a recent graduate of Westfield State University with a degree in Communication and a minor in Creative writing, which means I can at least write a nice-looking Christmas Card.

Being able to come in and see the great work that many artists have painstakingly created here fills me with excitement, because I know I get to work alongside some of these dedicated artists. I look forward to hopefully being able to attract more attention that the artists deserve, and bring in bigger crowds so that as many people as possible get to see the things these people create.

Here at Umbrella Arts, I hope to both learn and contribute, using the video capturing and editing skills I picked up in school as well as out of school as a videographer for the Diocese of Springfield. Some of my favorite hobbies include Improv Comedy, reading, and writing. In college, I participated in many theatre events, and it's great that I'll be able to work in a similar vein with Brian Boruta. I hope that my skills in videography and video editing, as well as my expertise in creating a great narrative, are able to help out here at Umbrella Arts.
