FALL ADULTS: Toolmaking for Ceramicists (November session)

Course Description:     
Do you need a custom rib for throwing? “Tool Making for Ceramicists” is your introduction to making one! Students will use the bandsaw, scroll saw, and sanders to make wooden tools. Participants can recreate tools or create custom ones. Existing tools can also be modified or sharpened.

Please bring any tools you would like to recreate or ideas for tools that might not exist yet. Pictures also work. Additionally, please bring wooden tools you would like to modify or sharpen. No woodworking experience is required. Power tool usage will be taught with an emphasis on safety. Students should expect to make 1 to 3 tools.
