WINTER ADULTS: Beyond Beginner Wheel (Monday afternoons)

Getting a handle on your wheelwork but a little intimidated by an advanced class? This is the class for you! Reinforce your fundamental skills on the wheel through new approaches, perspectives and tricks. Take your work to the next level with practice on your shaping, control, and intentional making. Engage your glazing with alternative materials, slips, oxides, and new techniques. Specific projects will be decided in conversation with the class. This class is not intended for absolute beginners. Advanced students are welcome, but the focus will be on intermediate skills. This class is suitable for intermediate-advanced students.

Instructor: Kyle Johns
Widely exhibited and published artist and teacher, Kyle Johns is the new Ceramics Artist-in-Residence at The Umbrella Arts Center.
