SPRING FAMILY WORKSHOP: Papermaking: Embedding Family Threads
Course Description:
Multigenerational workshop where children and familiess can learn hand papermaking together. Families are invited to bring photos, small mementos, fabric scraps, etc. to embed into their work. Momigami paper fabric making can be discussed and incorporated as another way of preserving and materializing photos and family history.
Instructor: Soleil Yoder
Soleil Yoder Salim is a junior at Tufts University pursuing a combined degree in Studio Art and Clinical Psychology and is originally from Lancaster, PA. She is a passionate community artist and arts educator and is a strong believer in the power of art as a tool for bridge building, connection, and expression.
