SPRING ADULTS: Exploring Composition with Charcoal & Pastel

Course Description:     
This class provides an introduction to using charcoal and pastels, concentrating on developing compositions that are balanced, dynamic and interesting. Some of our activities will include designing still lifes using our materials or materials you bring in from home, working with viewfinders and thumbnail sketches to create interesting points of view and practicing both reductive and additive techniques in drawing.

Rebecca Anne Davidson is an artist and educator from Boston who has been teaching art to both children and adults since 1996. She is a mixed media artist who works with changing materials depending on the project.
