The Umbrella Stage Company will sponsor the short play Three Seats as part of the Boston Theater Marathon XXV, May 7 at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, and streamed online.
The play is written by Kevin Cirone, whose play Voice of Reason was produced as part of The Umbrella Stage @Home series during the pandemic, directed by Michelle Aguillon.

The arts world of Boston has been hit hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, with theaters taking an especially hard blow. In light of this, the Greater Boston Stage Company, with the help of StageSource and the Creatives Who Care Initiative, has teamed up with 53 other local theater companies (including The Umbrella Stage Company!) for limited-edition "Boston Plays Wicked Hard" T-shirts.

The Umbrella Stage Company has announced a revised roster of shows planned for its 2020-2021 season, while we continue to prepare for a safe return to our brand new theaters at 40 Stow Street.
With all in-person performances delayed until after the new year, the Company's shortened four-show season comprises four impactful titles.
