My dot mandala artwork is informed by my long-standing belief in healing through art and the creative process. That interest drew me to grad school for art therapy, where my thesis research focused on the role of creativity in personal growth. After earning my master’s, I worked in the fields of art therapy and human services. At present, I am a full-time artist, teaching and creating one-of-a-kind dot mandalas on beach rocks and upcycled materials using acrylic paint and dotting tools. My dot mandala classes draw from my background in art therapy, yoga and mindfulness, creating a harmonious environment whenever I teach.
