Since the summer of 2020, the ever-evolving and growing “Go Out Doors” outdoors public art exhibition has surprised and delighted innumerable strollers, cyclists and drivers throughout Greater Boston. Inspired by the En Plein Air exhibition on NYC's High Line, the original “Go Out Doors” exhibition of artfully upcycled doors was commissioned for the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in West Concord's Cultural District. After two years of expanding our popular Go Out Doors - Neighbors public art installations throughout Metrowest and Greater Boston, The Umbrella Arts Center wants to bring this community-building event to our neighbors all throughout Concord.

Thanks to Minuteman Media Network for its new program highlighting this season’s Go Out Doors - Neighbors installation at Bradford Mill in West Concord, in collaboration with Artscape. The new segment shares the background of the multiyear Go Out Doors project and interviews several of the participating artists at Bradford Mill.

Along the recently opened 2C section of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in Concord, one can enjoy views of the charming downtown area, sunflowers, and cornfields. Now, a public art exhibit sponsored by The Umbrella Arts Center titled “Go Out Doors” further enhances the already beautiful pathway, encouraging people to walk, bike, or run the 2.5 mile stretch of public land and interact with the art.
