Learn to Model Shaun the Sheep with Aardman Animation

The Umbrella is pleased to join Belmont World Film's Family Festival 2021 as a co-presenter of a special January 23 12:00PM online Model Making Workshop led by Aardman's Senior Model Maker, Jim Parkyn!

Aardman, the creative people behind such groundbreaking clay animated films as the Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit films, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep, is offering a unique opportunity for you and your child to learn how to make your very own Shaun the Sheep character during this fun, hands-on clay modelling workshop.

You’ll have an opportunity to ask any burning questions you have and learn some insider Aardman tips, too!

This is open to both children and adults.

Reserve online by January 7 so that you'll have plenty of time to collect materials and prepare for the workshop. Workshop-only tickets are available, OR use our special Umbrella Families special discount to take 10% off a full festival pass to all films and workshops!

White clay: 130g (4.6 oz)
Black clay: 70g  (2.47)
Popsicle sticks: 5

*Newplast or Fimo recommended, but other types of modelling clay will be fine too (e.g. Play-Doh, Plasticine)
