Time Commitment: 1 or 2 hours per week – your choice. The workshop runs for 6 weeks with an option to continue the next session.
Assist our Grandfather’s Workshop instructor in a class for kids from Pre-K to 4th grade. Children explore art and techniques in a small group, through both age-appropriate planned projects and personal testing. We use curiosity boxes with all sorts of wooden and found parts and pieces to make toys and models and to experiment (practicing safety and proper tool handling at all times). The instructor says, “We have fun and learn. Each day is full of surprise at what the children create and learn.”
Requirements: reliable, dependable, enjoy working with kids
