The Umbrella Arts and Environment program hosts community celebrations throughout the year. Our biggest celebration is Earth Month! Earth Month traditionally has included a nonjuried exhibition in April, Arts & Environment-themed crafts-making in our classes and workshops, and community partner activities. All this activity has culminated in a festive Earth Day including a River Ceremony to honor Nature, a Parade through Concord Center, and a Festival to enjoy activities, performances, and art. In June we celebrate the Summer Solstice and this past December we were pleased to once again partner with The Old Manse for a delightful community Full Moon Lantern Celebration!
