ArtTalk: Stories of Walden Pond with Nina Earley
On March 19 at 3:00, join The Umbrella’s first Artist-in-Residence, Nina Earley, for the second talk of her residency. For the past two months, Earley has been gathering local stories about walks near Walden Pond that will inform a community art piece to be installed in her residency show at the end of the summer.
During her talk, Earley will give a short presentation explaining her project and sharing some of the stories she has collected. After the presentation, Earley will start the first making session of her community project. Participants will be invited to make work inspired by quotes taken from the collected stories.
This talk is free and open to the public. Come see what Earley has been working on since her residency began during Open Studios on March 28 and 29.
Free and open to the public. Please RSVP to let us know if you're coming!
