INT/ADV

Course Description:
This one-class workshop will focus on throwing miniatures off the hump with demonstrations of different techniques to shape, create, and trim small forms! Learn how to make multiples efficiently and expand (shrink!) your pottery vocabulary! “Throwing off the hump” and making miniatures are fantastic methods to explore new forms, try out tools, and get comfortable with shaping. The end results are smaller, precious pieces that are great for testing glazes. This class is suitable for Intermediate-Advanced students, and those with wheel and centering experience.

Please note: Open only to students enrolled in the summer semester. Enrollment in this workshop does not grant access to the studio for the semester.
