Cast Biographies
Alexander Boyle is thrilled to be back at The Umbrella after being in their productions of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party (Oscar d'Armano) in 2016 and Big Fish (Will Bloom) in 2017. Some other favorite roles: Bobby in Urinetown, Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show, Sebastian in Twelfth Night, and the titular role in Pippin. All my love to my family and my friends!
Holly B. Faust (Female Understudy) is a performer, director, and dance and fight choreographer in the Boston area, and she is thrilled to be joining The Umbrella family! In addition to performing, Holly also teaches at Boston Conservatory and Dean College. Holly holds a BA in Theatre and Dance from Roger Williams University, and an MFA in Musical Theatre from Boston Conservatory. Recent onstage credits include: Ensemble/Associate Choreographer in All Shook Up (Reagle Music Theater), Janet MacGregor in South Pacific (Reagle Music Theater), Titania/Sander/Female Dance Captain in The Donkey Show (American Repertory Theatre), Vicki/Sheila Understudy in A Chorus Line (Reagle Music Theater), and Featured Dancer in GREECE! Craig Juricka* is excited to be making his debut with The Umbrella in the role of Man. He has been seen as Harry K Thaw/Ensemble in Ragtime (Boston POPS); King Triton in Little Mermaid (FPAC); Herr Schneider/Ensemble (NYC Workshop, In the Light). Craig is a cross-genre actor, bari-tenor, and vocal pedagogue, and has performed nationally on musical theatre, opera, concert, and choral stages across the nation. He spent two summers as an Apprentice Artist with Des Moines Metro Opera and has performed with the New York Philharmonic, Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Boston Lyric Opera, MassOpera, and Boston POPS. Craig is on the voice faculty at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Walnut Hill School for the Arts. His students can be seen in national tours, broadway shows, and regional theaters around the country. He holds an MM in Vocal Pedagogy (Boston Conservatory) and a BM Vocal Performance (Capital University). *Mr. Juricka is a proud member of AEA and AGMA.

Creative Team Biographies
Brian Boruta (Producer) This is Brian’s 55th production with The Umbrella and his 51st as the Director of Performing Arts, during which time he has earned Best Production nominations for Glengarry Glen Ross, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Red, Angels in America, Equus and Bonnie & Clyde; a DASH Award for Best Play for True West and To Kill A Mockingbird, and Best Musical for Parade and Big Fish. The Umbrella directing credits include: Parade (Dash Award for Best Director of a Musical) Big Fish (DASH Nom.), Hair, Evita, Side Show, Next to Normal, The Rocky Horror Show. Elsewhere: Sweeney Todd, Legally Blonde, Godspell, Seussical the Musical, The Actor’s Nightmare, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You. Favorite on-stage credits include Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street (DASH Nom.), Judas/John the Baptist in Godspell, Cosmo Brown in Singin’ in the Rain, Austin in True West, and Greg in A Chorus Line. As a designer and educator, Brian has worked with numerous college, high school and community groups including Merrimack College, Goddard College, Framingham State University, The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest, Brookline, Chelsea and Wellesley Public School. His solo piece, UnMasqued, has been workshopped and performed at the Wheeler Theater in Port Townsend, WA. Brian holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and was named the recipient of the 2014 Framingham State University Young Alumni Achievement Award for his work in the performing arts.
Larry Sousa** (Director/Choreographer/Projections Designer) is an award-winning Director and Choreographer whose work appears regularly on Boston stages including Wheelock Family Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage, Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, Reagle Music Theatre, and Lyric Stage, where his recent production of The Drowsy Chaperone garnered rave reviews. Larry has directed and choreographed productions at theatres from coast-to-coast, including Goodspeed Musicals, Pasadena Playhouse, NYC’s Joyce Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, Coconut Grove Playhouse, the N.Y. Fringe Festival, and the Garry Marshall Theatre in L.A. He is the recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critic’s Circle Award, L.A. Ovation Awards, IRNE Awards, and countless more. Larry is the Resident Director/Choreographer of Harvard’s legendary Hasty Pudding Theatricals, which premieres its latest original musical this February in Cambridge, N.Y.C., and Bermuda. Alex Berg (Audio Designer) is a freelance sound designer and composer in the greater Boston area. Credits include work at The Lyric Stage Company of Boston, North Shore Music Theatre, Theatre by the Sea, A Contemporary Theater of Connecticut, American Repertory Theater, Prescott Park Arts Festival, Barrington Stage Company, Kavinoky Theatre, and Shakespeare in Delaware Park.
Seth Bodie (Costume Designer) is currently a Boston based theater maker. He works primarily as a costume designer, with forays into the milieu of wig and makeup design. He has worked on numerous projects as varied as baroque opera to absurdist clown shows. His work has been called "photogenically eye catching" and "exuberant" by the New York Times. Tree Brock (Wardrobe Supervisor) is proud to be working with The Umbrella again after joining them as Wardrobe supervisor on Network, RENT, Middleton Heights, The Color Purple, LIZZIE, and The Minutes. They have previously worked as the costume designer with Hoovey Theatre doing Witch, Marjory Prime, and Pillowman. They were also costume designer with The Christmas Carol in Waltham. Most days Tree also works backstage and costume work for Drag me to Brunch and Strut or at Walnut Hill School for the Arts with the Dance department costumes and adjustments. During the summer they help at Creative Arts helping kids costume creation and looks for the summer productions. Chris Brousseau (Audio Op) has worked in central and eastern MA theater for over 20 years as an actor, designer, and technician. Jack Cline they/he (Conductor) is a Somerville-based musician and professional sweetie currently finishing up their last year of undergrad. Recent projects include The Rocky Horror Show (Central Square Theater), 46 Plays... (Hub Theatre Co.), Little Shop of Horrors (New London Barn Playhouse), and Cabaret (Tufts University) in Spring 2025. Jack is the staff pianist at the Boston University School of Theatre and a busy accompanist around the city, including many stints at The Umbrella. He is so stoked and grateful to be a part of Now. Maya Concepción* (Stage Manager) is a proud Dominican American, born and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Delighted to be Stage Managing for The Umbrella for the first time, Maya is an Actress, Artist, and Stage Manager, currently based in Haverhill, Mass. Receiving her BFA in 2021 in Acting for the Stage, Screen, and New Media from the University of Southern California, Maya brings a wealth of creative and professional expertise to all of her collaborative roles. Recently, she was awarded Best Stage Manager at NHCTA’s Theater Festival. This summer, she played Inis for Theater In The Open’s A Bold Stroke for a Husband as well as stage managed the same production. She also SM’d for Firehouse Center’s production of In The Heights. She served on the Board of Directors for Pentucket Players Inc., where she SM’d their 30th season. Baron E. Pugh † (Scenic Designer) is a Boston-based scenic designer for theater and opera. SeifAllah Salotto-Cristobal † he/him/his (Lighting & Projections Desginer) is a father, husband, educator, and storyteller designing for Theatre, Opera, Dance, Concerts, and Live Events. He travels across the country telling stories with many companies including Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Program, Portland Stage Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, Maine State Music Theatre, Remote Theatre Project, Opera Maine, Opera Colorado, Palm Beach Opera, Tulsa Opera, Boston Conservatory @ Berklee, Unicorn Theatre, Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, and Theatre at Monmouth. He holds an MFA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a focus on Lighting and Projection Design and is the Assistant Professor of Lighting Design at the University of Southern Maine where he brings his knowledge and experience to help shape the next generation of theatre professionals, focusing on developing complete storytelling and creating a more equitable industry.
