Stephanie Barney (Pam Lukowski) is thrilled to be making her stage debut with The Umbrella Stage Company! Stephanie was last seen at The Umbrella as the understudy/off-stage swing for Bridget Sullivan and Emma Borden in the rock musical Lizzie. Stephanie has also played ‘Turn Back O’ Man’ in Godspell, Miss Mona Stangley in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Meg McGrath in Crimes of the Heart (Rhode Island College) where she earned Irene Ryan nominations for each role. More recently, Stephanie was seen as Marullus/u/s for Julius Caesar in Julius Caesar (ACON). John Breen (Malcolm Macgregor) is thrilled to be returning to The Umbrella stage! Previous shows with The Umbrella include Rent, Head Over Heels, Tuck Everlasting, and 42nd Street. When John is not on stage, he works as a specialty cake decorator at Love & Flour Bakery in Salem, NH. You can spot John competing in the first season of the Netflix original series Sugar Rush Christmas. Many thanks to The Umbrella for welcoming him back!

Louis Brogna (Keno Walsh/Teddy Slaughter/Ensemble) is happy to make his Umbrella debut and to return to his roots in Massachusetts. The last time he performed in his home state was at the Boston Opera House with Anastasia. Jennifer Bubriski (Jeanette Burmeister/Molly Macgregor) was last seen at The Umbrella as Miss Stephanie/Mrs Dubose in To Kill a Mockingbird. She has also been seen at the Huntington Theatre Company as Pam Annunziata in Hurricane Diane, Louise in Private Lives (Gloucester Stage), Mrs. Claus in the regional premiere of The Truth About Santa, The Housekeeper in Man of La Mancha, and Jacqueline in La Cage Aux Folles (all at Seacoast Repertory Theatre).

Joshua Wolf Coleman* (Noah (Horse)T. Simmons) was most recently has performed with Wheelock Family Theater on Bud, Not Buddy & The Addams Family, Gloucester Stage Company on The Thin Place, Trinity Rep on Radio Golf, Central Square Theater on the award-winning Cloud 9 & A Christmas Carol as Ebenezer Scrooge, Bedlam Theatre’s co-production of The Crucible, and A.R.T.’s short-play festival. He has worked with luminaries of the stage including Edward Albee, Joseph Chaiken, and Anne Bogart and at The Guthrie Theater, Actors’ Theatre of Louisville, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and La Jolla Playhouse. Other roles include: Norry the Drag Queen, Puddn’head Wilson, as well as Macbeth, Lysander, Friar Lawrence, Angleo, and Iago. Television work includes Shameless, Bosch, How to Get Away With Murder, The West Wing, Scandal, House, Huff, Grey’s Anatomy, Kevin Can **** Himself, as well as the Boston-filmed Aftermath and Touchstone’s Hidalgo. Aimee Doherty* (Vicki Nichols) Umbrella: 42nd Street (Dorothy Brock); Recent credits include: Halina/the Middle in Indecent at Wilburly Theatre, Morticia in Addams Family Values at Wheelock Stage, and Edith in The Stranger at the Barnstormers Theatre. Other regional theaters include: the Huntington Theatre, Shakespeare & Company, Company One, Lyric Stage, Moonbox Productions, SpeakEasy Stage, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Ballet, New Rep, Greater Boston Stage, Gloucester Stage, and Theatre By The Sea, among others. Tim Lawton (Dave Bukatinsky) is proud to be making his Umbrella Stage Company debut. Tim has most known for his past decade as actor, voice coach, and Associate Artistic Director with The Gold Dust Orphans. Favorite Orphans roles include Norbert in Little Christmas Tree Shop of Horrors, Trump/Bald Eagle in The Ebonic Woman, and Mary Cheney in Thoroughly Muslim Millie, which earned him an Elliot Norton Award. Tim was also seen in the ensemble of Moonbox Productions’ Sweeney Todd, as Herr Zeller in The Sound of Music at Regale, and can be heard on as Saul on the cast recording of Beloved King. Jacob Thomas Less (Ethan Girard) The Umbrella Stage Company debut! Will McGarrahan* (Harold Nichols) is thrilled to make his Umbrella Stage Company debut with The Full Monty. He recently appeared as Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde with Moonbox Productions, Mickey Marcus in The Normal Heart at New Repertory Theatre and Chekhov/Tchaikovksy/Tolstoy in Preludes at Lyric Stage of Boston. He received an Elliot Norton Award for Souvenir at the Lyric and IRNE awards for The Drowsy Chaperone and Company at SpeakEasy Stage. Will has acted at many other Boston area stages including Huntington Theatre, Gloucester Stage, Central Square Theater and Greater Boston Stage. Other favorite roles include Oscar in The Little Foxes, The Chairman in Drood, Archie in Terrence McNally’s Some Men, The Narrator in Into The Woods, Charlotte in Harvey Fierstein’s Casa Valentina, Adam in Next Fall, Sylvia in Ruthless!, Penn in MJ Halberstadt’s The Usual Unusual and Gordon in A New Brain. Will worked as an actor, singer and pianist for many years in Seattle before moving to Boston's South End.

Jeff Mitchell (Ensemble/ u/s Malcolm, Ethan) is excited to be making his acting debut with The Umbrella Stage Company. Previous Umbrella credits include serving as the Assistant Director for The Old Man and the Old Moon. Most recently, Jeff performed as Robert/Thomas in The Play the Goes Wrong at Concord Players and as Jon in tick, tick... BOOM! (DASH Award winner) at Colonial Chorus Players. Other notable roles include the Stage Manager in Our Town, Dennis in All Shook Up, Freddy in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Emmett in Legally Blonde: The Musical, and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. Jeff has been the designer and puppeteer for The Shakespearean Jazz Show seen at ArtsEmerson & Green Room 42 in New York City.

Sarajane Morse Mullins* (Susan Hershey/ u/s Pam) is thrilled to return to The Umbrella Stage Company. Past roles at The Umbrella include Lucille in Parade, Blanche Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde, and ensemble roles in Tuck Everlasting, Big Fish and Evita. She has also appeared at The Huntington Theatre Company, Greater Boston Stage Company, Turtle Lane Playhouse, Moonbox Productions, and in over 50 productions in the Midwest. SJ holds a BFA in Theater Arts from Boston University and trained abroad with the London Academy of Music and Drama. James Turner (Fight Choreographer/Fight Captain/Ensemble/ u/s Jerry, Dave) is delighted to be taking the stage for the first time at The Umbrella! He has been seen as Joey in Sister Act and Eddie in Trouble in Mind (Lyric Stage Company), Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Jamie in The Last 5 Years, and Shrek in Shrek (The Firehouse). When not donning a new identity on stage, James is a resident teaching artist at Stage 284 of Hamilton, teaches Improv at North Shore Music Theater, and runs a small studio for voice and acting students. Jackson Wisco (Nathan Lukowski) is a 13 year old actor from the North Shore Boston area. Jackson has been acting for 5 years and been in over 25 productions around the area. Some favorite roles include Shrek (Shrek the Musical), Jay (Descendants), and Jack Kelly (Newsies). In his free time, Jackson loves to hang out with his friends and travel. Brian holds a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and was named the recipient of the 2014 Framingham State University Young Alumni Achievement Award for his work in the performing arts.

Leigh Barrett (Director) is thrilled to be in this beautiful space with these lovely humans sharing this story of friendship and vulnerability. Most recently, Leigh directed Sister Act at The Lyric Stage, Her other directing projects include The Last Five Years, Closer Than Ever, Hairspra, Urinetown, Into the Woods,The Drowsy Chaperone, Addams Family, Forever Plaid, and Spamalot. She gives masterclasses in auditioning and navigating a balanced life in this crazy biz. She is a consent forward artist pursuing certification in trauma informed performance coaching. The proud recipient of four Elliot Norton Awards (2004, 2008), she won the 2018 Elliot Norton Prize for Sustained Excellence and the Norton Award for Outstanding Actress for Gypsy and Souvenir. Tree Brock
(Wardrobe Supervisor) is proud to be working with The Umbrella Stage Company again after joining them as wardrobe supervisor in Rent, Middleton Heights, The Color Purple, LIZZIE: The Musical, and The Minutes. They have previously worked as the costume designer with Hoovey Theatre doing Witch, Marjory Prime, and Pillowman. Most days Tree also works backstage and costume work for Drag me to Brunch and Strut or at Walnut Hill School for the Arts with the Dance department costumes and adjustments. During the week, vacation weeks and summer they work at Creative Arts helping kids costume creation and looks for the summer productions. Najee Brown (Choreographer) embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship, founding Mindlezz Thoughtz media company in 2011. He’s a champion for aspiring artists, offering invaluable support and resources. Brown’s artistic journey extends beyond business, showcasing his talents as a musician and dancer on renowned stages like the Apollo and Carnegie Hall. His creative prowess shines through in his co-writing and directing of the acclaimed musical Glimmerings Of Hope, premiered in New York City and toured Michigan in 2019. In the same year, Brown directed and choreographed the award-winning Henry Box Brown - A Musical Journey in Edinburgh, Scotland. Amidst the 2020 shutdown, he curated the Sol series at Seacoast Repertory Theatre, spotlighting BIPOC narratives, and debuted original plays, Stokley and Martin and Nevaeh’s Brother. Brown’s revival of The Bus Stop in NYC garnered widespread acclaim. Rooted in his Brooklyn upbringing, he champions theater as a catalyst for self-expression and social justice. His commitment led to the establishment of Theater For The People, providing opportunities for marginalized communities. Recognized with a playwriting residency at Boston Center for the Arts, Brown now serves as Artistic Director at Multicultural Arts Center, where his latest production, Hear Her Sing for Freedom, premiered in January 2023.

James Cannon
(Audio Designer) is a freelance audio engineer, sound designer, composer, and music producer from Chicago, IL, and currently based in Watertown, MA. Recent theatrical credits include: The View Upstairs (Speakeasy Stage), Well, Straight White Men (Hovey Players), The Rocky Horror Show, Passing Strange (Moonbox Productions), The Last Wide Open, The Old Man & The Old Moon, Head Over Heels, The Colored Museum, Dracula, The Color Purple, LIZZIE, The Minutes (The Umbrella Stage Company), NIGHTTOWN: An Operatic Reimagining of James Joyce's Ulysses (Lowell House Opera), and Spring Awakening (Wellesley Theater Project).

Rebecca Glick
(Costume Designer) is thrilled to design her first show with Umbrella! Her most recent designs were seen in POTUS (SpeakEasy Stage), and Sweeney Todd (Moonbox, Elliot Norton Nomination-Outstanding Costume Design). Rebecca has also designed for many educational theater productions, including The SpongeBob Musical (NSMT), Mean Girls (Weston Drama Workshop), The Heart of Robin Hood (Framingham High School), and Clue (GBSC). Additional design credits include Admissions and Fun Home (SpeakEasy Stage Company, Assistant Costume Designer). Gabrielle Hatcher 
(Properties and Set Dressing Designer) is thrilled to be back at The Umbrella! She was last seen on stage at The Umbrella as Lucy Westenra in Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, really. Off stage doing hair and make-up on Middleton Heights. Other credits include: The Asian American Playwright Collective’s Playfest 4, Hair Design for Sense and Sensibility at Concord Players, for which she won a DASH award, and Set Design for Pillowman at Hovey Players. Other credits include Stop Kiss and Some Girls at Hovey Players, The 48 Hour Film Project, and the National Film Challenge.

Liam Horne* (Assistant Stage Manager) This is Liam’s fourth show with The Umbrella Stage Company, having previously worked on Big Fish before the renovation, as well as Working and Parade. He has also been seen as the stage manager for the premiere of Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight at the Wilbury Theatre Group. Liam is thrilled to return to The Umbrella, and would like to thank the organization for giving him the opportunity to return!

Kayleigh Kane (Intimacy Director) is a Boston-based intimacy professional and multi-disciplinary artist working in theater and film around New England, New York, and beyond. Previous work at The Umbrella Stage Company: LIZZIE: The Musical, The Color Purple, RentDracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, really, and Head Over Heels. Michael T. Lacey* (Stage Manager) is pleased to be stage managing The Fully Monty at The Umbrella, having last stage managed The Minutes, Head Over Heels, and 42nd Street in the inaugural season on the new Umbrella stage. Previously at The Umbrella, Michael stage managed Big Fish (DASH Winner - Best Stage Manager) and Parade (DASH Nomination - Best Stage Manager). Other stage managing credits include Circle Mirror Transformation (Burlington Players - DASH nomination: Best Stage Manager), 42nd Street (Winthrop Playmakers) and Sweeney Todd (906 Productions). Abi Lora (Stage Crew) This is Abi's sixth show at The Umbrella, with other backstage credits including Avenue Q, Tuck Everlasting, Bent, Rent, and Head Over Heels. When not at the theatre, Abi can be found working as a special education teacher in Boston. She would like to thank Brian, Leigh, and MTL for having her along on this journey. She would also like to thank her husband, Esteban, for his never-ending love and patience, and would like to wish him a happy birthday.

Jenna MacFarland Lord (Scenic Designer) is an award winning scenic, environmental and production designer. Over the past 22 years, Ms. McFarland Lord has designed for several professional companies in Boston such as The Prom, BLKS, The Color Purple, SpeakEasy Stage Company; Grand Horizons, Spring Awakening, Gloucester Stage Co; Calendar Girls, Something’s Afoot, Greater Boston Stage; ParadiseThe Convert, Central SquareTheatre; In The Heights Wheelock Family Theatre; Cherry Docs New Repertory Theatre; Fabulation, The Last 5 Years, Lyric Stage Company; Cosi Fan Tutte, The Boston Conservatory; Don Giovanni, New England Conservatory; Off-Broadway: The Secret of Mme. Luke Molloy (Music Director) is delighted to music direct his first show with The Umbrella Stage Company. Zoe Pepin
(Stage Crew) is delighted to be returning to The Umbrella Stage Company after previously working on the crew for LIZZIE: The Musical earlier this season. She was most recently seen in the ensemble of Othello (Dream Role Players).

Kat Shanahan (Assistant Director, Wig Designer) is delighted to be working as Leigh’s Assistant Director, and at The Umbrella, both for the first time! She is the resident Wardrobe Supervisor at The North Shore Music Theater, heading into her 11th season. Other companies she has worked for include Boston Ballet, The Huntington Theatre Company, The Lyric Stage, Speakeasy Stage, Greater Boston Stage Company, Theater By the Sea, Odyssey Opera, The New England Conservatory, Boston University, Enigma Opera, The Poets Theater, Boston Conservatory, and ArtsEmerson. When not running Wardrobe, Kat has designed and/or maintained wigs for such companies as Boston Ballet, NSMT, The Huntington Theater, The Lyric Stage, Greater Boston Stage Co., Theater By the Sea, Odyssey Opera, and Boston University. PJ Strachman (Lighting Designer) previously designed with The Umbrella Stage Company for The Joy Luck Club and Angels in America Part 2. Other recent designs include Liars and Believers' (L.A.B.), A Story Beyond and Yellow Bird Chase; Blue Spruce's Pandora and The OK Diaries; Gloucester Stage's My Station in Life and Every Christmas Story Ever Told; and many other area shows. PJ is also the regular designer for Merrimack College, Gordon College, and Gann Academy, as well as designing for several other area colleges, high schools, and middle schools. PJ is also the coproducer/lyricist at Blue Spruce Theatre.

Kira Troilo (EDI Consultant) is a Boston-based creative, and the CEO and founder of Art & Soul Consulting, a new Equity, Diversity & Inclusion consulting firm dedicated to support for theater and the arts. Kira’s groundbreaking EDI work was recently featured in American Theatre Magazine. Kira consults for many local companies in addition to The Umbrella Stage Company — including SpeakEasy Stage, Reagle Music Theatre, Gloucester Stage Company, NEMPAC and Greater Boston Stage Company. Nationally, she has worked at theaters such as Arkansas’ TheatreSquared and Buffalo’s Irish Classical Theatre Company. Last summer, she provided tailored support for the world premiere of Summer Stock: The Musical at Goodspeed Opera House, starring Corbin Bleu. Kira also crafts and shares her own fully-tailored EDI workshop and development sessions with adjudicators, arts educators, theater ushers and volunteers, and boards of directors.
