FALL TEENS WORKSHOP: Screen Auditioning (ages 13-17)

Course Description:     
Step into the fast-paced world of TV and film auditioning! In this interactive 2-week series, young actors will learn how to navigate the quick turnaround times and technical demands of the modern screen industry. ○ Week 1: Master the fundamentals of acting for the lens—focusing on framing, costume, props, clear choices and script analysis. Students will be assigned TV/film sides to take home and prep. ○ Week 2: Put your training into action! Students will return with fully prepped scenes, props, and wardrobe choices to deliver live on-camera performances, receiving individualized coaching and feedback. Walk away with real-world industry tools, enhanced speed in character creation, and the confidence to own your space in front of the lens. Open to all levels. No prior camera experience is required. For Week 1, wear comfortable, solid-colored clothing (avoid busy patterns or logos). Bring a notebook, pen, and water bottle. Script materials and week two assignment details will be provided in class.
