FALL TEEN: Brush and Blend: From Mini Canvases to a Finished Masterpiece

Course Description:
Designed for aspiring artists ages 13–17, this acrylic painting class will build confidence, creativity, and technical skills through a series of engaging projects. Students will begin by creating small canvas paintings to practice essential techniques, including color mixing, brush control, composition, texture, and layering.

As the class progresses, students will explore the use of acrylic mediums to create smooth blends, soft transitions, and enhanced depth in their paintings. They will experiment with blending techniques, glazing, and building vibrant color while developing their own artistic style.

The course will culminate in a final 11" × 14" acrylic painting that showcases the skills learned throughout the session. Students will plan their composition, apply blending techniques using acrylic mediums, and complete a finished artwork they can proudly display.

Whether students are new to painting or have previous experience, this class provides a supportive environment to strengthen artistic skills, explore creative expression, and gain confidence working with acrylics.
