FALL ADULTS: Explore/Refine

INT/ADV

Course Description:
This wheel focused class will encourage breaking old habits and exploring new directions to take our work with consideration of utility, form and surface. Through cycles of production, review and critique, we will identify our stylistic and technical strengths. Through practice and iteration, we will then hone those skills. This class will allow for a deeper investigation of our familiar pottery forms: tumblers, mugs, and bowls and push students to explore a range of techniques with the goal of finding a “voice,” or stylistic theme to carry forward in their work. This class is suitable for intermediate-advanced students.
