FALL YOUTH: Beginner Machine Sewing (Ages 8-12)

Course Description:     
Creative, project-based sewing sessions will let beginner students have fun, build upon their skills with fabric and design while teaching the basics of sewing on a machine. Students will learn how to thread and safely operate a sewing machine, accurately cut fabric, and complete fun projects that will give them the confidence to expand their skills. We’ll also do hand sewing on some projects. Please note: A sewing machine in good working order should be brought from home, or contact The Umbrella office for options.
