SPRING YOUTH: Beginner & Continuing Level Machine Sewing (Ages 8-12)

Course Description:     
Creative, project-based sewing sessions will let beginner students have fun with fabric and design while teaching the basics of sewing on a machine. Students will learn how to thread and safely operate a sewing machine, accurately cut fabric, and complete fun projects that will give them the confidence to expand their skills. We’ll also do hand sewing on some projects. Please note: A sewing machine in good working order should be brought from home, or contact Umbrella office for options. This class is well suited for students that have taken the beginner sewing class previously.
