FALL YOUTH: Early Release Continuing Machine Sewing (Ages 8-12)
Course Description:
Ready, Set, Sew! This creative, project-based sewing sessions will let continuing students have fun with fabric and design while learning more skills for sewing on a machine. Students will take their existing skills such as how to thread and safely operate a sewing machine and accurately cut fabric, and add to that knowledge while completing fun projects sure to turn them into confident sewers. We’ll also do hand sewing on some projects.

Instructor: Maire-Anne Diamond
Maire Anne Diamond is a lifelong sewer and crafter, and has been a quilter for more than a decade. She loves helping students of all ages achieve creative expression through fabric! She is active in local sewing groups, has had her work displayed in local quilt shows, and sits on the board of Sew N Sew, a non-profit sewing cooperative in Natick.
