FALL YOUTH & TEEN: Continuing Wheel Throwing (ages 10-14)

Course Description:     
Learn and continue to expand your wheel throwing skill set in this youth wheel throwing class. In this course, continuing students will learn to construct ceramics with hand building and wheel throwing. Design their very own mugs, plates, bowls, and more! Decorate your pots with designs and glazes. Students will work with their instructor to create unique and personalized pottery that they will have for years to come.

Please note: Students required to have taken at least 1 wheel throwing class at The Umbrella and are ready to move on to move advanced techniques.

 

Instructor: Kylie Marden
Kylie received her BFA in Ceramics from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She works as a ceramics instructor and ceramics technician in the greater Boston area. Her work has been shown throughout New England, including the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Mudflat Pottery School, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
