FALL ADULTS: Oil Painting Fundamentals: Foundation of Realist Painting

Course Description:     
This eight-week course is designed to take the guesswork out of oil painting. Students will gain a very comprehensive working knowledge of how to mix and use color, design a composition, begin a purposeful underpainting, and execute a painting towards its completion. Classes will include lectures, demonstrations, and studio time targeting still life, landscape, and the basics of the human form. Working knowledge of drawing is a preferred requisite, materials list included.
