January 30, 2020

Concord, MA—The Umbrella Arts Center has opened registration for its expanded array of creative summer camps for 2020.

Following a multiyear, multi-million-dollar renovation, this summer will be the first opportunity for The Umbrella to host camps in three newly constructed classrooms.

The Umbrella's three camp options "for every type of creative kid" – an arts-intensive Summer Arts Under The Umbrella, an Arts & Rec Camp in partnership with neighboring Concord Rec, and the popular new Ninjas in Nature outdoors adventure camp –expands further with a new Performing Arts concentration that maximize its brand-new, state-of-the-art mainstage and black box theaters, film facilities, and airy new dance studio.

Camp options include programs for ages 4-14 plus Counselor-in-Training for 14-16; full-, half- and extended-day; nut-free environments. The Umbrella also offers early registration pricing before May 1, scholarships, and sibling, first-time student, and military family discounts. It will offer previews and classroom tours during its Free Family Art Day and Summer Camp Open House on February 17, 2-5PM, at 40 Stow Street.
